The fifth annual American Express Leadership Academy Global Alumni Summit will be held in Washington, DC, from March 31st to April 2nd, 2019. The Summit brings together 80 emerging social purpose leaders with representatives from the American Express Leadership Academy partners for continued professional development, relationship-building and collaboration.
This year's Summit will feature a special livestream conversation, Engaging All: Strategies for Thriving in Complexity, on Monday, April 1st at 3:30pm EDT featuring Bill Drayton, founder and CEO of Ashoka in conversation with Stacy Palmer, editor of The Chronicle of Philanthropy. The world around us is becoming more complex. Understanding this complexity is especially relevant when trying to solve social problems. Bill will share his extensive experience in the social sector, and will discuss strategies for engaging various stakeholders to thrive in our complex society.
