Adriana Lopez is the Founder and Principal of A. Lopez Consulting (dba), an organization that provides operations, strategy and technical consultation services to support the growth and efficacy of public sector, nonprofit and start-up initiatives. Prior to founding her practice, Adriana served as the Director of Operations for US2020, a national STEM-equity initiative. In this role she executed both a public-facing role as an advocate and speaker while also contributing internally to grow a team engaged in moving the needle on diversity in the STEM industries. Over the past decade, her professional experiences have included service with federal agencies such as the Corporation for National and Community Service, the U.S. Department of Labor and the Smithsonian Institution, as well as with community-focused nonprofits such as Leadership Alexandria. Additionally, she is an alumna of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) Fellowship (2004-05), the Hispanics in Philanthropy Next Generation Leadership program (2017), and the Center for Nature and Leadership Generative Council (2016-18). Adriana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stanford University and a Master of Applied Science in Environmental Policy and Management, with a specialization in GIS, from the University of Denver.
