Philip Rivera has acted as the Director of Volunteer Services for the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) since 2015. He is responsible for the administration of more than 600 museum volunteers. Philip previously served as a Volunteer Manager for the Detroit RiverFront Conservancy and as a Volunteer Coordinator for the DIA. Additionally, Phillip served as the Corporate Meeting Planner for Volkswagen Group of America and as a Marketing Specialist and Event Manager at Chrysler Financial. A Detroit resident, Phillip received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. He earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Wayne State University. In 2014, he earned his Certification in Volunteer Administration (CVA).
